निनवे, के तिमी निल नदीको किनारमा अवस्थित अमोन शहर भन्दा अझ असल छौ? होइन, अमोनको चारैतिर पानीथियो अनि अमोनले यो पानी स्वंयमलाई उनका शत्रुहरुबाट बचाउनको निम्ति प्रयोग गर्दथ्यो। उसले यो पनि सुरक्षित पर्खालको रूपमा प्रयोग गर्यो।
