त्यसपछि येशूले तिनलाई निम्त्याउने फरिसीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “जब कुनै दिन तिमीहरूले बिहान वा बेलुकीको भोजन गराउन इच्छा गर्छौ त्यसबेला केवल आफ्ना साथीहरू, दाज्यु भाइहरू, आफन्तहरू र धनी छिमेकीहरूलाई मात्र नबोलाउ। बद्लामा तिनीहरुले पनि तिमीहरुलाई खाना खान निम्तो दिन्छन् अनि तिम्रो इनाम पाइहाल्नेछौ।

1 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਜੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਜਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਨਕਲ ਹੈ। ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ।
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੂਤ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ: “ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ; ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।” ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਣੇਗਾ।”
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਨਮੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੂਤ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ।”
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 ਦੂਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।”
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਤਖਤ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਸਲਾਮਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਹੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 ਤੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਗਲਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਮੁੱਢ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ।
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਟ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਹਿ ਲਾਵੇਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿਯੰਤ੍ਰਣ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ।”
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 ਸਾਰੇ ਦੂਤ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਤਮਾ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

12 ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਟ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਹਿ ਲਾਵੇਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿਯੰਤ੍ਰਣ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ।”
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 ਸਾਰੇ ਦੂਤ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਤਮਾ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
