Joshua 23:5
तर परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले त्यहाँ बसेका मानिसहरूलाई त्यो भूमि छाड्न वाध्य तुल्याउनु हुनेछ। तिमीहरूले त्यो भूमि लिने छौ। परमप्रभुले त्यहाँ बस्ने मानिसहरूलाई भूमि छोड्न वाध्य तुल्याउनु हुनेछ। परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूका निम्ति यसो गर्ने वचन दिनु भएको छ।

| before from them | מִפְּנֵיכֶ֔ם | mippĕnêkem | mee-peh-nay-HEM |
| you, and drive | וְהוֹרִ֥ישׁ | wĕhôrîš | veh-hoh-REESH |
| sight; your of out from them | אֹתָ֖ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM |
| and ye shall possess | מִלִּפְנֵיכֶ֑ם | millipnêkem | mee-leef-nay-HEM |
| וִֽירִשְׁתֶּם֙ | wîrištem | vee-reesh-TEM | |
| land, their | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| as | אַרְצָ֔ם | ʾarṣām | ar-TSAHM |
| the Lord | כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר | kaʾăšer | ka-uh-SHER |
| God your | דִּבֶּ֛ר | dibber | dee-BER |
| hath promised | יְהוָ֥ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| unto you. | אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֖ם | ʾĕlōhêkem | ay-loh-hay-HEM |
| לָכֶֽם׃ | lākem | la-HEM |
