Jeremiah 9:23
परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ “ज्ञानीले आफ्ना ज्ञान बारे शेखी गर्नु हुँदैन्। बलवानले आफ्ना शक्ति बारे घमण्ड गर्नु हुँदैन्। धनीले आफ्ना धन बारे अहम् गर्नु हुँदैन्।

| in his wisdom, | בְּחָכְמָת֔וֹ | bĕḥokmātô | beh-hoke-ma-TOH |
| neither | וְאַל | wĕʾal | veh-AL |
| mighty the let | יִתְהַלֵּ֥ל | yithallēl | yeet-ha-LALE |
| man glory | הַגִּבּ֖וֹר | haggibbôr | ha-ɡEE-bore |
| in his might, | בִּגְבֽוּרָת֑וֹ | bigbûrātô | beeɡ-voo-ra-TOH |
| not let | אַל | ʾal | al |
| the rich | יִתְהַלֵּ֥ל | yithallēl | yeet-ha-LALE |
| man glory | עָשִׁ֖יר | ʿāšîr | ah-SHEER |
| in his riches: | בְּעָשְׁרֽוֹ׃ | bĕʿošrô | beh-ohsh-ROH |
