Isaiah 5:30
यसकारण, ‘सिंह’ समुद्रका छालहरू जस्तै गर्जनेछ। समातिएका मानिसहरू भूइँतिर हेर्ने गर्दछन तब त्यहाँ अन्धकार मात्र हुनेछ। सम्पूर्ण प्रकाश बाक्लो कालो बादल जस्तो हुनेछ।

| look one if and | וְנִבַּ֤ט | wĕnibbaṭ | veh-nee-BAHT |
| unto the land, | לָאָ֙רֶץ֙ | lāʾāreṣ | la-AH-RETS |
| behold | וְהִנֵּה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| darkness | חֹ֔שֶׁךְ | ḥōšek | HOH-shek |
| and sorrow, | צַ֣ר | ṣar | tsahr |
| light the and | וָא֔וֹר | wāʾôr | va-ORE |
| is darkened | חָשַׁ֖ךְ | ḥāšak | ha-SHAHK |
| in the heavens | בַּעֲרִיפֶֽיהָ׃ | baʿărîpêhā | ba-uh-ree-FAY-ha |
