Hosea 8:4
तिनीहरूले राजाहरू नियुक्त गरे, तर मेरा अनुमति लिएनन्। तिनीहरूले राजकुमारहरू नियुक्त गरे, तर ती मानिसहरूलाई म चिन्दिन। तिनीहरूले सुन र चाँदीका मूर्तिहरू आफ्ना निम्ति बनाए, अत तिनीहरूलाई ध्वंश गरिनेछ।

| of their silver | כַּסְפָּ֣ם | kaspām | kahs-PAHM |
| and their gold | וּזְהָבָ֗ם | ûzĕhābām | oo-zeh-ha-VAHM |
| made they have | עָשׂ֤וּ | ʿāśû | ah-SOO |
| them idols, | לָהֶם֙ | lāhem | la-HEM |
| that | עֲצַבִּ֔ים | ʿăṣabbîm | uh-tsa-BEEM |
| they may be cut off. | לְמַ֖עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| יִכָּרֵֽת׃ | yikkārēt | yee-ka-RATE |
