Hebrews 12
1 हाम्रा वरिपरि विश्वासी मानिसहरू धेरै छन्। तिनीहरूका जीवनीले विश्वास के हो त्यो हामीलाई सिकाउँछ। यसर्थ, हामी तिनीहरू जस्तै हुनुपर्छ। हामीले पनि आफ्नो दौड नरोकिई दगुर्नु पर्छ। यदि दौडमा केही बाधा आउछ भने त्यसलाई फ्याँकनु पर्छ। अनि हामीलाई सजिलै फँसाउने पापलाई पनि हटाउनु पर्छ।
2 हामीले सदा येशूको उदाहरणको पनि अनुसरण गर्नु पर्छ। हाम्रा विश्वासको निम्ति येशू अगुवा हुनुहुन्छ र उहाँले हाम्रा विश्वासलाई पूर्ण गर्नुहुन्छ। उहाँले क्रूसमा मृत्यु अँगाल्नु भयो। परमेश्वरको अघि आनन्दको लागि, उहाँले क्रूसको कष्टलाई झेल्नु भयो। अहिले उहाँ परमेश्वरको सिंहासनको दाहिनेपट्टि बस्नुभएको छ।
3 विवादहरू सहनुहुन येशूलाई विचार गर जब पापीहरूले उहाँलाई सताए, उहाँले सहनु भयो। हताश नबन? तर धीरज बन अनि येशूको बारेमा संझ।
4 तिमीहरू पापको विरूद्ध लडदैछौ, तर अहिले सम्म तिमीहरूलाई रगत बगाउनु पर्ने अवस्थासम्म पुगेका छैनौ।
5 तिमीहरू परमेश्वरका पुत्रहरू हौ, त्यसैकारण तिमीहरूलाई उहाँले अर्ती दिनुहुन्छ। तिमीहरूले उहाँका शब्दहरू भुलेका छौ“मेरो छोरा! परमेश्वरको अनुशासन हल्कासित नलेऊ, तिमी हताश नबन, जब प्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई सुधार्नुहुन्छ।
6 प्रभुले जसलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई अनुशासित गर्नुहुन्छ जसलाई आफ्नो छोरा ठान्नुहुन्छ प्रत्येकलाई उहाँ दण्ड दिनुहुन्छ।’
7 त्यसैले हरेक दुखलाई पिताको अनुशासन सम्झेर सहनु पर्छ। जसरी पिताले पुत्रलाई सजाय दिन्छन् उसरी परमेश्वरले पनि तिमीलाई सजाय दिनुहुन्छ। सबै छोराहरूले आफ्ना पिताबाट सजाय पाउँछन्।
8 हरेक छोराले जस्तो तिमीले कहिल्यै सजाय पाएका छैनौ भने तिमी खास छोरा नै होइनौ।
9 यस पृथ्वीमा, हामी सबैका आ-आफ्ना पिताहरू छन् जसले हामीलाई अनुशासित गर्छन्। अनि हामी उनीहरूको आदर गर्छौ नै। यसर्थ अझ बढी हामीले आफ्ना आत्मिक पिताको अनुशासन स्वीकार गर्नुपर्छ। यसो गरयौं भने हामीले जीवन पाउनेछौ।
10 हाम्रा संसारिक पिताहरूले हामीहरूलाई उनीहरूले उचित सम्झेको अनुशासनको निम्ति केही समयको लागि सजाय दिए। तर उहाँ जस्तै पवित्र हुनलाई हाम्रा आत्मिक पिताले हामीलाई अनुशासित गराउँनु हुन्छ।
11 सजाय पाउँदा हामी खुशी हुँदैनौ किनकि त्यसबेला यो कष्टकर हुन्छ। तर पछि सजायबाट शिक्षा पाए पछि हामीलाई शान्ति हुन्छ किनकि हामी उचित प्रकारले बस्न थाल्दछौं।
12 तिमीहरू कमजोर भएका छौ। त्यसैले आफूलाई फेरि दरिलो बनाऊ।
13 असल तरिकाले बाँच जसमा कि तिमीहरू सुरक्षित रहनेछौ र आफ्ना कमजोरीबाट नष्ट हुनेछैनौ।
14 सबैसित शान्तिपूर्वक बस्ने कोशिश गर अनि पापदेखि मुक्त जीवन बिताऊ। यदि कसैको जीवन पवित्र छैन भने उसले प्रभुलाई देख्नेछैन।
15 सर्तक बस ताकि कोही पनि परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहबाट बंचित नबनोस्। अनि तिमीहरू मध्ये कोही पनि तीतेपाती जस्तो बडनु हुँदैन र अरूलाई बिगार्नु हुँदैन।
16 कसैले यौन अपराध गर्नुहुँदैन, अथवा एसाव जस्तो सांसारिक मनको हुनुहुँदैन। एसाव जेठो छोरो थियो र बाबुको सम्पत्तिको उत्तराधिकारी थियो। तर ती सब उसले एक छाक खानाको लागि बेच्नु पर्यो।
17 तिमीहरू जान्दछौ, पछिबाट, उसले आफ्ना पिताको आशीर्वादको लागि रूनु पर्यो। तर उसलाई आशीर्वाद दिन अस्वीकार गरे। किनकि एसावले आफूले गरेका कुराहरू बदल्ने उपाय पाउन सकेन।
18 तिमीहरू नयाँ ठाउँमा आएका छौ। तिमीहरू छुन नसकिने, आगोले नजल्ने पाहाडमा आएका छैनौ। न त अन्धकारमा, विषादमा, आँधीमा आएका छैनौ। यही पाहाड हो जहाँ इस्राएलीहरू आएका थिए।
19 यहाँ तिनीहरूले सुनेको जस्तो तुरहीको आवाज र बोलेको स्वर पनि सुन्दैनौ। जब तिनीहरूले यस्ता आवाज सुने, तिनीहरूले एउटै आवाज पनि सुन्न नपरोस्, भनेर अनुनय गरे।
20 तिनीहरूले आदेशलाई थाम्न सकेनन् “यदि पशु सम्मले पनि यो पाहाड छोए त्यसलाई ढुङ्गाले हिर्काएर मारिन्छ।”
21 तिनीहरूले जो देखेका थिए त्यो यति डरलाग्दो थियो कि मोशाले भने, “म डरले थरथरी काँपिरहेछु।”
22 तर तिमीहरू त्यस्ता ठाउँमा आएका छैनौ। तिमीहरू सियोन पाहाडमा आइपुगेका छौ। तिमीहरू जीवित परमेश्वरको शहर, स्वर्गीय यरूशलेममा आइपुगेकाछौ। तिमीहरू हजारौँ स्वर्गदूतहरूको सामूहिक आनन्दमा आडपुगेकाछौ।
23 तिमीहरू परमेश्वरका प्रथम पुत्रहरूका सभामा आइपुगेका छौ जसका नाउँहरू स्वर्गमा लेखिएका छन्। तिमीहरू सबै मानिसहरूका निर्णयकर्ता परमेश्वरकहाँ आएकाछौ। अनि तिमीहरू धर्मी मानिसहरूका आत्मा भएको ठाउँमा आएकाछौ जो पूर्ण बनेका छन्।
24 तिमीहरू येशूकहाँ आएका छौ जसले परमेश्वरबाट उहाँका मानिसहरूका लागि नयाँ करार ल्याउनुभयो। तिमीहरू रगत छर्केको ठाउँमा आएकाछौ जसले हामीलाई हाबिलको रगतले भन्दा असल कुराहरू भन्दछ।
25 होशियार बस र परमेश्वरको बोली सुन्न अस्वीकार नगर। जब परमेश्वरले पृथ्वीमा तिनीहरूलाई चेतावनी दिनुभयो ती मानिसहरूले उहाँलाई सुन्न अस्वीकार गरे र तिनीहरू भागेनन्। अहिले परमेश्वर स्वर्गबाट बोल्दै हुनुहुन्छ। अनि उहाँलाई सुन्न हामीले अस्वीकार गर्यौं भने हामी कसरी भाग्न सक्छौ?
26 त्यसबेला जब उहाँ बोल्नु भयो उहाँको आवाजले पृथ्वी र्थकियो। तर अहिले उहाँले प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएको छ “एकपल्ट अझै म धरती मात्र होइन तर स्वर्ग समेत थर्काउँछु।”
27 यहाँ “एकपल्ट अझै” भन्ने शब्दले स्पष्ट देखाउँदछ कि सृष्टिको हरेक चीज नष्ट हुनेछ। तर ती कुराहरू जो हल्लाउँदैनन्, रहिरहन्छन्।
28 यसर्थ, हामी कृतज्ञ बन्नुपर्छ किनकि हामीले एउटा राज्य पाउँदैछौं जो हल्लिन सक्दैन। अनि हामीले उहाँलाई प्रसन्न तुल्याउने तरिकाले आदर र भयले पूज्नुपर्छ।
29 किनभने हाम्रा परमेश्वर आगो जस्तो हुनुहुन्छ जसले सखाप पार्नुहुन्छ।
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

1 ಅರಸನಾದ ಆರ್ತಷಸ್ತನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದವರ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯೂ ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ ಯಾರಂದರೆ--
These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.
2 ಫಿನೆಹಾಸನ ಕುಮಾರ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆರ್ಷೋಮನೂ ಈತಾಮಾರನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೂ ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಟ್ಟೂ ಷನೂ,
Of the sons of Phinehas; Gershom: of the sons of Ithamar; Daniel: of the sons of David; Hattush.
3 ಶಕನ್ಯನ ವಂಶದ ಫರೋಷನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಜೆಕರೀಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ನೂರಾ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
Of the sons of Shechaniah, of the sons of Pharosh; Zechariah: and with him were reckoned by genealogy of the males an hundred and fifty.
4 ಪಹತ್ಮೋವಾಬನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆರಹ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯೆಹೋವೇನೈಯೂ; ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
Of the sons of Pahath-moab; Elihoenai the son of Zerahiah, and with him two hundred males.
5 ಶೆಕನ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಹಜೀಯೇಲನು ಮಗನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
Of the sons of Shechaniah; the son of Jahaziel, and with him three hundred males.
6 ಆದೀನನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಬೆದನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡ ಸರೂ,
Of the sons also of Adin; Ebed the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty males.
7 ಏಲಾಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
And of the sons of Elam; Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy males.
8 ಶೆಫಟ್ಯನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಾಕಾಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಬದ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ,
And of the sons of Shephatiah; Zebadiah the son of Michael, and with him fourscore males.
9 ಯೋವಾಬನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಒಬದ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂರ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
Of the sons of Joab; Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males.
10 ಶೆಲೋವಿಾತನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೊಸಿಫ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ನೂರಾ ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
And of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him an hundred and threescore males.
11 ಬೇಬೈಯ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಬೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರೀಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
And of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah the son of Bebai, and with him twenty and eight males.
12 ಅಜಾದನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಕ್ಕಾಟಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ನೂರಾ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
And of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males.
13 ಅದೋ ನೀಕಾಮನ ಕಡೇ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಎಲಿಫೇಲಟನು ಎವಿಾಯೇಲನು ಶೆಮಾಯನು ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವರೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.
14 ಬಿಗ್ವೈಯನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಊತೆ ಯನೂ ಜಬ್ಬೂ ದನೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡಸರೂ.
Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and with them seventy males.
15 ಇವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅಹಾವಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಡೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು. ನಾನು ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕ ರನ್ನೂ ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕುಮಾರ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.
16 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಎಲಿ ಯೇಜೆರನು, ಅರೀಯೇಲನು ಶೆಮಾಯನು, ಎಲ್ನಾ ತಾನನು, ಯಾರೀಬನು, ಎಲ್ನಾತಾನನು, ನಾತಾನನು, ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು, ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಮುಖರನ್ನೂ ಯೋಯಾರೀಬನು
Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.
17 ಎಲ್ನಾತಾನನು ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆ ಯುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನೂ ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕಸಿಪ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಧಿ ಪತಿಯಾದ ಇದ್ದೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ತರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಕಾಸಿಪ್ಯವೆಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇದ್ದೋವಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ನೆತಿನಿಯರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆನು.
And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.
18 ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಹಸ್ತವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಲೇವಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಹ್ಲೀಯ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಯುಳ್ಳವನಾದ ಶೇರೇಬ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಆದ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ
And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
19 ಹಷಬ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೆರಾರಿಯ ಕುಮಾರ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಶಾಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಅವರ ಕುಮಾರರರೂ ಆದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ
And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;
20 ದಾವೀ ದನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ನೆತಿನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ನೆತಿನಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.
21 ಆಗ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಮಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೂ ಆತನಿಂದ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹವಾ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪವಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾರಿದೆನು.
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
22 ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತ ಉಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಬಲವೂ ಆತನ ಕೋಪವೂ ಉಂಟು ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶತ್ರುವಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕೊಡಲು ಕಾಲ್ಬಲ ವನ್ನೂ ರಾಹುತರನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಲು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟೆವು.
For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
23 ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆವು. ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
24 ನಾನು ಯಾಜಕರ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಶೆರೆಬ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಹಷಬ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿ
Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
25 ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರೂ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೂಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellers, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
26 ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆರುನೂರ ಐವತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೂರು ತಲಾಂತು ತೂಕವಾದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗ ಳನ್ನೂ
I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
27 ನೂರು ತಲಾಂತು ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಸಾವಿರ ಪವನು ಬೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಬಟ್ಟಲು ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದಂಥಾ ಥಳ ಥಳಿಸುವಂಥಾ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಎರಡು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ತೂಗಿಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.
28 ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಈ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವು. ಈ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತಾರ್ಥ ವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the Lord; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the Lord God of your fathers.
29 ನೀವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಯಾಜಕರ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ತೂಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the Lord.
30 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ತೂಕದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
31 ನಾವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹವಾ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟೆವು. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಕೈಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡವರ ಕೈಗೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.
32 ನಾವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ತರುವಾಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯೂ ಬಂಗಾರವೂ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾಗಿರುವ ಊರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆರೇಮೋತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತೂಗಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.
33 ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಲೇವಿ ಯರಾದ ಫಿನೇಹಾಸನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾ ರನೂ ಯೇಷೂವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಜಾಬಾದನೂ ಬಿನ್ನೂಯ ಮಗನಾದ ನೋವದ್ಯನೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
34 ಆ ತೂಕದಷ್ಟೂ ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರದರ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ತೂಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
35 ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೊಂಭತ್ತಾರು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪ ಕಳೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮೇಕೆಯ ಹೋತಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the Lord.
36 ಅವರು ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಸನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಯಜಮಾ ನರಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರ ಜನರಿಗೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೂ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿದರು.
And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
