Genesis 2:7
तब त्यसपछि परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले भूँईबाट माटो उठाउनु भयो अनि मानिस सृष्टि गर्नु भयो। परमप्रभुले मानिसको नाकबाट सास हालिदिनु भयो र यसलाई जिउँदो बनाउनु भयो।

| breathed and | וַיִּפַּ֥ח | wayyippaḥ | va-yee-PAHK |
| into his nostrils | בְּאַפָּ֖יו | bĕʾappāyw | beh-ah-PAV |
| the breath | נִשְׁמַ֣ת | nišmat | neesh-MAHT |
| life; of | חַיִּ֑ים | ḥayyîm | ha-YEEM |
| and man | וַֽיְהִ֥י | wayhî | va-HEE |
| became | הָֽאָדָ֖ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| a living | לְנֶ֥פֶשׁ | lĕnepeš | leh-NEH-fesh |
