Genesis 1:15
यी उज्यालाहरु पृथ्वीमा ज्योति चम्काउनको निम्ति आकाशमा रहनेछन्।” अनि यस्तै भयो।

| to give light | לְהָאִ֖יר | lĕhāʾîr | leh-ha-EER |
| upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
| earth: the | הָאָ֑רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| and it was | וַֽיְהִי | wayhî | VA-hee |
| so. | כֵֽן׃ | kēn | hane |
