Exodus 1:12
मिश्रीहरूले इस्राएलीहरूलाई कठिन-कठिन कामहरू गर्न लगाउन थाले, तर जति तिनीहरूलाई काममा लगाइन्थ्यो त्यति नै तिनीहरूको संख्या बढथ्यो अनि फैलिन्थे। अनि मिश्रीहरू इस्राएलीहरूसंग अझै डराउन थाले।

| more the them, | אֹת֔וֹ | ʾōtô | oh-TOH |
| they multiplied | כֵּ֥ן | kēn | kane |
| grew. and | יִרְבֶּ֖ה | yirbe | yeer-BEH |
| וְכֵ֣ן | wĕkēn | veh-HANE | |
| And they were grieved | יִפְרֹ֑ץ | yiprōṣ | yeef-ROHTS |
| because | וַיָּקֻ֕צוּ | wayyāquṣû | va-ya-KOO-tsoo |
| of the children | מִפְּנֵ֖י | mippĕnê | mee-peh-NAY |
| of Israel. | בְּנֵ֥י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
