Deuteronomy 22:2
यदि त्यस पशुको मालिक टाढाको मानिस भए अथवा त्यो पशु कसको हो तिमीले जान्न नसकेसम्म त्यसलाई तिम्रो घरमा ल्याएर राख्नु पर्छ। त्यसलाई त्यसको मालिक खोज्दै नआउञ्जेलसम्म राख्न सएछौ। त्यसको मालिक आएपछि त्यो पशु जिम्मा लगाउनु पर्छ।

| know thou if or thee, | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| him not, | יְדַעְתּ֑וֹ | yĕdaʿtô | yeh-da-TOH |
| bring shalt thou then | וַֽאֲסַפְתּוֹ֙ | waʾăsaptô | va-uh-sahf-TOH |
| it unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| תּ֣וֹךְ | tôk | toke | |
| house, own thine | בֵּיתֶ֔ךָ | bêtekā | bay-TEH-ha |
| and it shall be | וְהָיָ֣ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| with | עִמְּךָ֗ | ʿimmĕkā | ee-meh-HA |
| thee until | עַ֣ד | ʿad | ad |
| thy brother | דְּרֹ֤שׁ | dĕrōš | deh-ROHSH |
| after seek | אָחִ֙יךָ֙ | ʾāḥîkā | ah-HEE-HA |
| restore shalt thou and it, | אֹת֔וֹ | ʾōtô | oh-TOH |
| it to him again. | וַהֲשֵֽׁבֹת֖וֹ | wahăšēbōtô | va-huh-shay-voh-TOH |
