2 Samuel 23:16
तर ती तीन वीरहरू पलिश्ती फौजको सामना गर्दै अघि बढे र बेतलेहेम शहरको फाटक छेउमा भएको इनारबाट पानी ल्याएर दाऊदलाई दिए। तर दाऊदले उक्त पानी खान मानेनन्। तिनले परमप्रभुलाई चढाएको पानी जस्तै भुइँमा घोप्टाए।
