पलिश्तीहरूले वीरताका साथ लडे र इस्राएलीहरूलाई परास्त पारे। प्रत्येक इस्राएली सेना भागेर आफ्ना छाउनीमा लुक्न पुगे। इस्राएलको यो साह्रै नराम्रो पराजय थियो। जम्मा 30,000 इस्राएली सैनिकहरू मारिएका थिए।
