शाऊलले दाऊदलाई अरू धेरै युद्धहरूमा पठाए। प्रत्येक युद्धमा दाऊदले नै सफलता पाए। त्यसपछि शाऊलले दाऊदलाई सैनिकहरूको जिम्मा दिए। यसो हुँदा सबै खुशी भए, यहाँ सम्म शाऊलका सबै अधिकारी पनि खुशी भए।
