1 Samuel 17:35
म त्यस्ता जंगली पशुहरूलाई खेद्दै जान्थे र तिनीहरूका मुखबाट भेडा खोसेर ल्याउँथे। यदि जंगली जन्तुले मलाई आक्रमण गरे त्यसको मुख मुनिको भुत्ला समात्थें र त्यसलाई हिर्काउथें।

| him, and smote | וְהִכִּתִ֖יו | wĕhikkitîw | veh-hee-kee-TEEOO |
| delivered and him, | וְהִצַּ֣לְתִּי | wĕhiṣṣaltî | veh-hee-TSAHL-tee |
| it out of his mouth: | מִפִּ֑יו | mippîw | mee-PEEOO |
| arose he when and | וַיָּ֣קָם | wayyāqom | va-YA-kome |
| against | עָלַ֔י | ʿālay | ah-LAI |
| me, I caught | וְהֶֽחֱזַ֙קְתִּי֙ | wĕheḥĕzaqtiy | veh-heh-hay-ZAHK-TEE |
| beard, his by him | בִּזְקָנ֔וֹ | bizqānô | beez-ka-NOH |
| and smote | וְהִכִּתִ֖יו | wĕhikkitîw | veh-hee-kee-TEEOO |
| him, and slew | וַֽהֲמִיתִּֽיו׃ | wahămîttîw | VA-huh-mee-TEEV |
