पलिश्ती मानिसहरूले सुने कि दाऊद इस्राएलका राजा चुनिएकाछन्। यसर्थ सबै पलिश्ती मानिसहरू दाऊदको खोजिमा गए। दाऊदले यस विषयमा सुने। तब तिनी पलिश्ती मानिसहरूसित युद्ध गर्न निक्ले।
