வானபரியந்தம் உயர்த்தப்பட்ட கப்பர்நகூமே, நீ பாதாளபரியந்தம் தாழ்த்தப்படுவாய்; உன்னில் செய்யப்பட்ட பலத்த செய்கைகள் சோதோமிலே செய்யப்பட்டிருந்ததானால், அது இந்நாள் வரைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்.

“கப்பர்நகூம் மக்களாகிய நீங்கள் வானம் வரை உயர்த்தப்படுவீர்களோ? இல்லை! நீங்கள் மரணக் குழியில் தள்ளப்படுவீர்கள். உங்களிடம் பல அற்புதங்களைச் செய்தேன் நான். அந்த அற்புதங்களைச் சோதோம் நகரில் நிகழ்த்தியிருந்தால், அந்நகர மக்கள் பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்தியிருப்பார்கள். இன்னும் ஒரு நகரமாகவே அது இருந்திருக்கும்.
