இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: இன்றைக்கு, இந்த இராத்திரியிலே, சேவல் இரண்டுதரம் கூவுகிறதற்கு முன்னே, நீ மூன்று தரம் என்னை மறுதலிப்பாய் என்று மெய்யாகவே உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
