இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: நீ போகலாம், உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது என்றார். உடனே அவன் பார்வையடைந்து, வழியிலே இயேசுவுக்குப் பின்சென்றான்.
