Psalm 55:23
ദൈവമേ, നീ അവരെ നാശത്തിന്റെ കുഴിയിലേക്കു ഇറക്കും; രക്തപ്രിയവും വഞ്ചനയും ഉള്ളവർ ആയുസ്സിന്റെ പകുതിയോളം ജീവിക്കയില്ല; ഞാനോ നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കും.

| down them bring shalt | תּוֹרִדֵ֬ם׀ | tôridēm | toh-ree-DAME |
| into the pit | לִבְאֵ֬ר | libʾēr | leev-ARE |
| of destruction: | שַׁ֗חַת | šaḥat | SHA-haht |
| bloody | אַנְשֵׁ֤י | ʾanšê | an-SHAY |
| deceitful and | דָמִ֣ים | dāmîm | da-MEEM |
| men | וּ֭מִרְמָה | ûmirmâ | OO-meer-ma |
| shall not | לֹא | lōʾ | loh |
| live out half | יֶחֱצ֣וּ | yeḥĕṣû | yeh-hay-TSOO |
| days; their | יְמֵיהֶ֑ם | yĕmêhem | yeh-may-HEM |
| but I | וַ֝אֲנִ֗י | waʾănî | VA-uh-NEE |
