എന്നാൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ശവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധരായിത്തീർന്നിട്ടു ആ നാളിൽ പെസഹ ആചരിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ചിലർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ അന്നുതന്നേ മോശെയുടെയും അഹരോന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ വന്നു അവനോടു:
