Numbers 14:16
ഈ ജനത്തോടു സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ കൊണ്ടു പോകുവാൻ യഹോവെക്കു കഴിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നു കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറയും.

| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| he sware | נִשְׁבַּ֣ע | nišbaʿ | neesh-BA |
| slain hath he therefore them, unto | לָהֶ֑ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| them in the wilderness. | וַיִּשְׁחָטֵ֖ם | wayyišḥāṭēm | va-yeesh-ha-TAME |
