പുരോഹിതൻ ഈ ശാപങ്ങൾ ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതി കൈപ്പുവെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകി കലക്കേണം.

| book, a in | בַּסֵּ֑פֶר | bassēper | ba-SAY-fer |
| and he shall blot | וּמָחָ֖ה | ûmāḥâ | oo-ma-HA |
| with out them | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the bitter | מֵ֥י | mê | may |
| water: | הַמָּרִֽים׃ | hammārîm | ha-ma-REEM |
