അവൻ വെള്ളം തടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞാൽ അതു വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവൻ വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ അതു ഭൂമിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

| the waters, | בַּמַּ֣יִם | bammayim | ba-MA-yeem |
| up: dry they and | וְיִבָ֑שׁוּ | wĕyibāšû | veh-yee-VA-shoo |
| out, them sendeth he also | וִֽ֝ישַׁלְּחֵ֗ם | wîšallĕḥēm | VEE-sha-leh-HAME |
| and they overturn | וְיַ֖הַפְכוּ | wĕyahapkû | veh-YA-hahf-hoo |
| the earth. | אָֽרֶץ׃ | ʾāreṣ | AH-rets |
