യെശയ്യാ 47:9
പുത്രനഷ്ടം, വൈധവ്യം ഇവ രണ്ടും പെട്ടെന്നു ഒരു ദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നേ നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും; നിന്റെ ക്ഷുദ്രപ്രയോഗങ്ങൾ എത്ര പെരുകിയിരുന്നാലും നിന്റെ ആഭിചാരങ്ങൾ എത്ര അധികമായിരുന്നാലും അവ നിനക്കു നിറപടിയായി ഭവിക്കാതിരിക്കയില്ല.

| come shall they | וְאַלְמֹ֑ן | wĕʾalmōn | veh-al-MONE |
| upon | כְּתֻמָּם֙ | kĕtummām | keh-too-MAHM |
| perfection their in thee | בָּ֣אוּ | bāʾû | BA-oo |
| for the multitude | עָלַ֔יִךְ | ʿālayik | ah-LA-yeek |
| sorceries, thy of | בְּרֹ֣ב | bĕrōb | beh-ROVE |
| and for the great | כְּשָׁפַ֔יִךְ | kĕšāpayik | keh-sha-FA-yeek |
| abundance | בְּעָצְמַ֥ת | bĕʿoṣmat | beh-ohts-MAHT |
| of thine enchantments. | חֲבָרַ֖יִךְ | ḥăbārayik | huh-va-RA-yeek |
