യെശയ്യാ 31:8
എന്നാൽ അശ്ശൂർ പുരുഷന്റേതല്ലാത്ത വാളാൽ വീഴും; മനുഷ്യന്റേതല്ലാത്ത വാളിന്നു ഇരയായിത്തീരും; അവർ വാളിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞു ഓടിപ്പോയാൽ അവരുടെ യൌവനക്കാർ ഊഴിയവേലക്കാരായിത്തീരും.

| man, mean a of | אָדָ֖ם | ʾādām | ah-DAHM |
| shall devour | תֹּֽאכֲלֶ֑נּוּ | tōʾkălennû | toh-huh-LEH-noo |
| him: but he shall flee | וְנָ֥ס | wĕnās | veh-NAHS |
| from | לוֹ֙ | lô | loh |
| the sword, | מִפְּנֵי | mippĕnê | mee-peh-NAY |
| and his young men | חֶ֔רֶב | ḥereb | HEH-rev |
