ഉല്പത്തി 41:48
മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു സുഭിക്ഷത ഉണ്ടായ ഏഴു സംവത്സരത്തിലെ ധാന്യം ഒക്കെയും അവൻ ശേഖരിച്ചു പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു; ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചുറ്റുവട്ടത്തുള്ള നിലത്തിലെ ധാന്യം സൂക്ഷിച്ചു.

| Egypt, of | מִצְרַ֔יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |
| and laid up | וַיִּתֶּן | wayyitten | va-yee-TEN |
| food the | אֹ֖כֶל | ʾōkel | OH-hel |
| in the cities: | בֶּֽעָרִ֑ים | beʿārîm | beh-ah-REEM |
| food the | אֹ֧כֶל | ʾōkel | OH-hel |
| of the field, | שְׂדֵה | śĕdē | seh-DAY |
| which | הָעִ֛יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| about round was | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| every city, | סְבִֽיבֹתֶ֖יהָ | sĕbîbōtêhā | seh-vee-voh-TAY-ha |
| laid he up | נָתַ֥ן | nātan | na-TAHN |
