യേഹേസ്കേൽ 29:12
ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യദേശങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യപട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കു ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിന്നിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും.

| in the midst | בְּת֣וֹךְ׀ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| countries the of | אֲרָצ֣וֹת | ʾărāṣôt | uh-ra-TSOTE |
| that are desolate, | נְשַׁמּ֗וֹת | nĕšammôt | neh-SHA-mote |
| cities her and | וְעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ | wĕʿārêhā | veh-ah-RAY-HA |
| among | בְּת֨וֹךְ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| the cities | עָרִ֤ים | ʿārîm | ah-REEM |
| waste laid are that | מָֽחֳרָבוֹת֙ | māḥŏrābôt | ma-hoh-ra-VOTE |
| shall be | תִּֽהְיֶ֣יןָ | tihĕyênā | tee-heh-YAY-na |
| desolate | שְׁמָמָ֔ה | šĕmāmâ | sheh-ma-MA |
| forty | אַרְבָּעִ֖ים | ʾarbāʿîm | ar-ba-EEM |
| years: | שָׁנָ֑ה | šānâ | sha-NA |
| and I will scatter | וַהֲפִצֹתִ֤י | wahăpiṣōtî | va-huh-fee-tsoh-TEE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| Egyptians the | מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ | miṣrayim | meets-RA-YEEM |
| among the nations, | בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם | baggôyim | ba-ɡoh-YEEM |
| disperse will and | וְֽזֵרִיתִ֖ים | wĕzērîtîm | veh-zay-ree-TEEM |
| them through the countries. | בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ | bāʾărāṣôt | ba-uh-ra-TSOTE |
