ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ അണിനിരന്നു; പട പരന്നപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു തോറ്റുപോയി; സൈന്യത്തിൽ ഏകദേശം നാലായിരംപേരെ അവർ പോർക്കളത്തിൽ വെച്ചു സംഹരിച്ചു.
