നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ പത്തു അപ്പവും കുറെ അടകളും ഒരു തുരുത്തി തേനും എടുത്തു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുക. കുട്ടിയുടെ കാര്യം എന്താകും എന്നു അവൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| and a cruse | וּבַקְבֻּ֥ק | ûbaqbuq | oo-vahk-BOOK |
| of honey, | דְּבַ֖שׁ | dĕbaš | deh-VAHSH |
| go and | וּבָ֣את | ûbāt | oo-VAHT |
| to | אֵלָ֑יו | ʾēlāyw | ay-LAV |
| him: he | ה֚וּא | hûʾ | hoo |
| shall tell | יַגִּ֣יד | yaggîd | ya-ɡEED |
| what thee | לָ֔ךְ | lāk | lahk |
| shall become | מַה | ma | ma |
| of the child. | יִּֽהְיֶ֖ה | yihĕye | yee-heh-YEH |
| לַנָּֽעַר׃ | lannāʿar | la-NA-ar |
