നാമോ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അല്ല, ദൈവം നമുക്കു നല്കിയതു അറിവാനായി ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

Now	ἡμεῖς	hēmeis	ay-MEES
we	δὲ	de	thay
have received,	οὐ	ou	oo
not	τὸ	to	toh
the	πνεῦμα	pneuma	PNAVE-ma
spirit	τοῦ	tou	too
of the	κόσμου	kosmou	KOH-smoo
world,	ἐλάβομεν	elabomen	ay-LA-voh-mane
but	ἀλλὰ	alla	al-LA
the	τὸ	to	toh
spirit	πνεῦμα	pneuma	PNAVE-ma
which is	τὸ	to	toh
of	ἐκ	ek	ake
God;	τοῦ	tou	too
that	θεοῦ	theou	thay-OO
we might know	ἵνα	hina	EE-na
that the things	εἰδῶμεν	eidōmen	ee-THOH-mane
	τὰ	ta	ta
are freely given	ὑπὸ	hypo	yoo-POH
to us	τοῦ	tou	too
of	θεοῦ	theou	thay-OO
	χαρισθέντα	charisthenta	ha-ree-STHANE-ta
