Judges 9:51
പട്ടണത്തിന്നകത്തു ഉറപ്പുള്ള ഒരു ഗോപുരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവിടേക്കു സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും സ്ത്രീകളും പട്ടണത്തിലുള്ളവർ ഒക്കെയും ഓടിക്കടന്നു വാതിൽ അടെച്ചു ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ മുകളിൽ കയറി.

| fled | שָׁ֜מָּה | šāmmâ | SHA-ma |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the men | הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֣ים | hāʾănāšîm | ha-uh-na-SHEEM |
| and women, | וְהַנָּשִׁ֗ים | wĕhannāšîm | veh-ha-na-SHEEM |
| and all | וְכֹל֙ | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| they | בַּֽעֲלֵ֣י | baʿălê | ba-uh-LAY |
| of the city, | הָעִ֔יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| and shut | וַֽיִּסְגְּר֖וּ | wayyisgĕrû | va-yees-ɡeh-ROO |
| it to | בַּֽעֲדָ֑ם | baʿădām | ba-uh-DAHM |
| up them gat and them, | וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּ | wayyaʿălû | va-ya-uh-LOO |
| to | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the top | גַּ֥ג | gag | ɡahɡ |
