תִּקְע֨וּ ye teek-OO שׁוֹפָ֜ר the shoh-FAHR בְּצִיּ֗וֹן trumpet beh-TSEE-yone וְהָרִ֙יעוּ֙ in veh-ha-REE-OO בְּהַ֣ר Zion, beh-HAHR קָדְשִׁ֔י and kode-SHEE יִרְגְּז֕וּ sound yeer-ɡeh-ZOO כֹּ֖ל an kole יֹשְׁבֵ֣י alarm yoh-sheh-VAY הָאָ֑רֶץ in ha-AH-rets כִּֽי my kee בָ֥א holy va יוֹם mountain: yome יְהוָ֖ה let yeh-VA כִּ֥י all kee קָרֽוֹב׃ the ka-ROVE -
י֧וֹם day yome חֹ֣שֶׁךְ of HOH-shek וַאֲפֵלָ֗ה darkness va-uh-fay-LA י֤וֹם and yome עָנָן֙ of ah-NAHN וַעֲרָפֶ֔ל gloominess, va-uh-ra-FEL כְּשַׁ֖חַר a keh-SHA-hahr פָּרֻ֣שׂ day pa-ROOS עַל of al הֶֽהָרִ֑ים clouds heh-ha-REEM עַ֚ם and am רַ֣ב of rahv וְעָצ֔וּם thick veh-ah-TSOOM כָּמֹ֗הוּ darkness, ka-MOH-hoo לֹ֤א as loh נִֽהְיָה֙ the nee-heh-YA מִן morning meen הָ֣עוֹלָ֔ם spread HA-oh-LAHM וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙ upon veh-AH-huh-rav לֹ֣א the loh יוֹסֵ֔ף mountains: yoh-SAFE עַד a ad שְׁנֵ֖י great sheh-NAY דּ֥וֹר people dore וָדֽוֹר׃ and va-DORE -
לְפָנָיו֙ fire leh-fa-nav אָ֣כְלָה devoureth AH-heh-la אֵ֔שׁ before aysh וְאַחֲרָ֖יו them; veh-ah-huh-RAV תְּלַהֵ֣ט and teh-la-HATE לֶֽהָבָ֑ה behind leh-ha-VA כְּגַן them keh-ɡAHN עֵ֨דֶן a A-den הָאָ֜רֶץ flame ha-AH-rets לְפָנָ֗יו burneth: leh-fa-NAV וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙ the veh-AH-huh-rav מִדְבַּ֣ר land meed-BAHR שְׁמָמָ֔ה is sheh-ma-MA וְגַם as veh-ɡAHM פְּלֵיטָ֖ה the peh-lay-TA לֹא garden loh הָ֥יְתָה of HA-yeh-ta לּֽוֹ׃ Eden loh -
כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה appearance keh-mahr-A סוּסִ֖ים of soo-SEEM מַרְאֵ֑הוּ them mahr-A-hoo וּכְפָרָשִׁ֖ים is oo-heh-fa-ra-SHEEM כֵּ֥ן as kane יְרוּצֽוּן׃ the yeh-roo-TSOON -
כְּק֣וֹל the keh-KOLE מַרְכָּב֗וֹת noise mahr-ka-VOTE עַל of al רָאשֵׁ֤י chariots ra-SHAY הֶֽהָרִים֙ on heh-ha-REEM יְרַקֵּד֔וּן the yeh-ra-kay-DOON כְּקוֹל֙ tops keh-KOLE לַ֣הַב of LA-hahv אֵ֔שׁ mountains aysh אֹכְלָ֖ה shall oh-heh-LA קָ֑שׁ they kahsh כְּעַ֣ם leap, keh-AM עָצ֔וּם like ah-TSOOM עֱר֖וּךְ the ay-ROOK מִלְחָמָֽה׃ noise meel-ha-MA -
מִפָּנָ֖יו their mee-pa-NAV יָחִ֣ילוּ face ya-HEE-loo עַמִּ֑ים the ah-MEEM כָּל people kahl פָּנִ֖ים shall pa-NEEM קִבְּצ֥וּ be kee-beh-TSOO פָארֽוּר׃ much fa-ROOR -
כְּגִבּוֹרִ֣ים shall keh-ɡee-boh-REEM יְרֻצ֔וּן run yeh-roo-TSOON כְּאַנְשֵׁ֥י like keh-an-SHAY מִלְחָמָ֖ה mighty meel-ha-MA יַעֲל֣וּ men; ya-uh-LOO חוֹמָ֑ה they hoh-MA וְאִ֤ישׁ shall veh-EESH בִּדְרָכָיו֙ climb beed-ra-hav יֵֽלֵכ֔וּן the yay-lay-HOON וְלֹ֥א wall veh-LOH יְעַבְּט֖וּן like yeh-ah-beh-TOON אֹרְחוֹתָֽם׃ men oh-reh-hoh-TAHM -
וְאִ֤ישׁ shall veh-EESH אָחִיו֙ one ah-heeoo לֹ֣א thrust loh יִדְחָק֔וּן another; yeed-ha-KOON גֶּ֥בֶר they ɡEH-ver בִּמְסִלָּת֖וֹ shall beem-see-la-TOH יֵֽלֵכ֑וּן walk yay-lay-HOON וּבְעַ֥ד every oo-veh-AD הַשֶּׁ֛לַח one ha-SHEH-lahk יִפֹּ֖לוּ in yee-POH-loo לֹ֥א his loh יִבְצָֽעוּ׃ path: yeev-tsa-OO -
בָּעִ֣יר shall ba-EER יָשֹׁ֗קּוּ run ya-SHOH-koo בַּֽחוֹמָה֙ to ba-hoh-MA יְרֻצ֔וּן and yeh-roo-TSOON בַּבָּתִּ֖ים fro ba-boh-TEEM יַעֲל֑וּ in ya-uh-LOO בְּעַ֧ד the beh-AD הַחַלּוֹנִ֛ים city; ha-ha-loh-NEEM יָבֹ֖אוּ they ya-VOH-oo כַּגַּנָּֽב׃ shall ka-ɡa-NAHV -
לְפָנָיו֙ earth leh-fa-nav רָ֣גְזָה shall RA-ɡeh-za אֶ֔רֶץ quake EH-rets רָעֲשׁ֖וּ before ra-uh-SHOO שָׁמָ֑יִם them; sha-MA-yeem שֶׁ֤מֶשׁ the SHEH-mesh וְיָרֵ֙חַ֙ heavens veh-ya-RAY-HA קָדָ֔רוּ shall ka-DA-roo וְכוֹכָבִ֖ים tremble: veh-hoh-ha-VEEM אָסְפ֥וּ the ose-FOO נָגְהָֽם׃ sun noɡe-HAHM -
וַֽיהוָ֗ה the vai-VA נָתַ֤ן Lord na-TAHN קוֹלוֹ֙ shall koh-LOH לִפְנֵ֣י utter leef-NAY חֵיל֔וֹ his hay-LOH כִּ֣י voice kee רַ֤ב before rahv מְאֹד֙ his meh-ODE מַחֲנֵ֔הוּ army: ma-huh-NAY-hoo כִּ֥י for kee עָצ֖וּם his ah-TSOOM עֹשֵׂ֣ה camp oh-SAY דְבָר֑וֹ is deh-va-ROH כִּֽי very kee גָד֧וֹל great: ɡa-DOLE יוֹם for yome יְהוָ֛ה he yeh-VA וְנוֹרָ֥א is veh-noh-RA מְאֹ֖ד strong meh-ODE וּמִ֥י that oo-MEE יְכִילֶֽנּוּ׃ executeth yeh-hee-LEH-noo -
וְגַם also veh-ɡAHM עַתָּה֙ now, ah-TA נְאֻם saith neh-OOM יְהוָ֔ה the yeh-VA שֻׁ֥בוּ Lord, SHOO-voo עָדַ֖י turn ah-DAI בְּכָל ye beh-HAHL לְבַבְכֶ֑ם even leh-vahv-HEM וּבְצ֥וֹם to oo-veh-TSOME וּבְבְכִ֖י me oo-vev-HEE וּבְמִסְפֵּֽד׃ with oo-veh-mees-PADE -
וְקִרְע֤וּ rend veh-keer-OO לְבַבְכֶם֙ your leh-vahv-HEM וְאַל heart, veh-AL בִּגְדֵיכֶ֔ם and beeɡ-day-HEM וְשׁ֖וּבוּ not veh-SHOO-voo אֶל your el יְהוָ֣ה garments, yeh-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֑ם and ay-loh-hay-HEM כִּֽי turn kee חַנּ֤וּן unto HA-noon וְרַחוּם֙ the veh-ra-HOOM ה֔וּא Lord hoo אֶ֤רֶךְ your EH-rek אַפַּ֙יִם֙ God: ah-PA-YEEM וְרַב for veh-RAHV חֶ֔סֶד he HEH-sed וְנִחָ֖ם is veh-nee-HAHM עַל gracious al הָרָעָֽה׃ and ha-ra-AH -
מִ֥י knoweth mee יוֹדֵ֖עַ if yoh-DAY-ah יָשׁ֣וּב he ya-SHOOV וְנִחָ֑ם will veh-nee-HAHM וְהִשְׁאִ֤יר return veh-heesh-EER אַֽחֲרָיו֙ and AH-huh-rav בְּרָכָ֔ה repent, beh-ra-HA מִנְחָ֣ה and meen-HA וָנֶ֔סֶךְ leave va-NEH-sek לַיהוָ֖ה a lai-VA אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ blessing ay-loh-hay-HEM -
תִּקְע֥וּ the teek-OO שׁוֹפָ֖ר trumpet shoh-FAHR בְּצִיּ֑וֹן in beh-TSEE-yone קַדְּשׁוּ Zion, ka-deh-SHOO צ֖וֹם sanctify tsome קִרְא֥וּ a keer-OO עֲצָרָֽה׃ fast, uh-tsa-RA -
אִסְפוּ the ees-FOO עָ֞ם people, am קַדְּשׁ֤וּ sanctify ka-deh-SHOO קָהָל֙ the ka-HAHL קִבְצ֣וּ congregation, keev-TSOO זְקֵנִ֔ים assemble zeh-kay-NEEM אִסְפוּ֙ the ees-FOO עֽוֹלָלִ֔ים elders, oh-la-LEEM וְיֹנְקֵ֖י gather veh-yoh-neh-KAY שָׁדָ֑יִם the sha-DA-yeem יֵצֵ֤א children, yay-TSAY חָתָן֙ and ha-TAHN מֵֽחֶדְר֔וֹ those may-hed-ROH וְכַלָּ֖ה that veh-ha-LA מֵחֻפָּתָֽהּ׃ suck may-hoo-pa-TA -
בֵּ֤ין the bane הָאוּלָם֙ priests, ha-oo-LAHM וְלַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ the veh-la-meez-BAY-ak יִבְכּוּ֙ ministers yeev-KOO הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים of ha-KOH-huh-NEEM מְשָׁרְתֵ֖י the meh-shore-TAY יְהוָ֑ה Lord, yeh-VA וְֽיֹאמְר֞וּ weep veh-yoh-meh-ROO ח֧וּסָה between HOO-sa יְהוָ֣ה the yeh-VA עַל porch al עַמֶּ֗ךָ and ah-MEH-ha וְאַל the veh-AL תִּתֵּ֨ן altar, tee-TANE נַחֲלָתְךָ֤ and na-huh-lote-HA לְחֶרְפָּה֙ let leh-her-PA לִמְשָׁל them leem-SHAHL בָּ֣ם say, bahm גּוֹיִ֔ם Spare ɡoh-YEEM לָ֚מָּה LA-ma יֹאמְר֣וּ thy yoh-meh-ROO בָֽעַמִּ֔ים people, va-ah-MEEM אַיֵּ֖ה O ah-YAY אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ Lord, ay-loh-hay-HEM -
וַיְקַנֵּ֥א will vai-ka-NAY יְהוָ֖ה the yeh-VA לְאַרְצ֑וֹ Lord leh-ar-TSOH וַיַּחְמֹ֖ל be va-yahk-MOLE עַל jealous al עַמּֽוֹ׃ for ah-moh -
וַיַּ֨עַן the va-YA-an יְהוָ֜ה Lord yeh-VA וַיֹּ֣אמֶר will va-YOH-mer לְעַמּ֗וֹ answer leh-AH-moh הִנְנִ֨י and heen-NEE שֹׁלֵ֤חַ say shoh-LAY-ak לָכֶם֙ unto la-HEM אֶת his et הַדָּגָן֙ people, ha-da-ɡAHN וְהַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ Behold, veh-ha-tee-ROHSH וְהַיִּצְהָ֔ר I veh-ha-yeets-HAHR וּשְׂבַעְתֶּ֖ם will oo-seh-va-TEM אֹת֑וֹ send oh-TOH וְלֹא you veh-LOH אֶתֵּ֨ן eh-TANE אֶתְכֶ֥ם corn, et-HEM ע֛וֹד and ode חֶרְפָּ֖ה wine, her-PA בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ and ba-ɡoh-YEEM -
וְֽאֶת I VEH-et הַצְּפוֹנִ֞י will ha-tseh-foh-NEE אַרְחִ֣יק remove ar-HEEK מֵעֲלֵיכֶ֗ם far may-uh-lay-HEM וְהִדַּחְתִּיו֮ off veh-hee-dahk-teeoo אֶל from el אֶ֣רֶץ you EH-rets צִיָּ֣ה the tsee-YA וּשְׁמָמָה֒ northern oo-sheh-ma-MA אֶת army, et פָּנָ֗יו and pa-NAV אֶל will el הַיָּם֙ drive ha-YAHM הַקַּדְמֹנִ֔י him ha-kahd-moh-NEE וְסֹפ֖וֹ into veh-soh-FOH אֶל a el הַיָּ֣ם land ha-YAHM הָאַֽחֲר֑וֹן barren ha-ah-huh-RONE וְעָלָ֣ה and veh-ah-LA בָאְשׁ֗וֹ desolate, va-eh-SHOH וְתַ֙עַל֙ with veh-TA-AL צַחֲנָת֔וֹ his tsa-huh-na-TOH כִּ֥י face kee הִגְדִּ֖יל toward heeɡ-DEEL לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ the la-uh-SOTE -
אַל not, al תִּֽירְאִ֖י O tee-reh-EE אֲדָמָ֑ה land; uh-da-MA גִּ֣ילִי be ɡEE-lee וּשְׂמָ֔חִי glad oo-seh-MA-hee כִּֽי and kee הִגְדִּ֥יל rejoice: heeɡ-DEEL יְהוָ֖ה for yeh-VA לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ the la-uh-SOTE -
אַל not al תִּֽירְאוּ֙ afraid, tee-reh-OO בַּהֲמ֣וֹת ba-huh-MOTE שָׂדַ֔י ye sa-DAI כִּ֥י beasts kee דָשְׁא֖וּ of dohsh-OO נְא֣וֹת the neh-OTE מִדְבָּ֑ר field: meed-BAHR כִּֽי for kee עֵץ֙ the ayts נָשָׂ֣א pastures na-SA פִרְי֔וֹ of feer-YOH תְּאֵנָ֥ה the teh-ay-NA וָגֶ֖פֶן wilderness va-ɡEH-fen נָתְנ֥וּ do note-NOO חֵילָֽם׃ spring, hay-LAHM -
וּבְנֵ֣י glad oo-veh-NAY צִיּ֗וֹן then, TSEE-yone גִּ֤ילוּ ye ɡEE-loo וְשִׂמְחוּ֙ children veh-seem-HOO בַּיהוָ֣ה of bai-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם Zion, ay-loh-hay-HEM כִּֽי and kee נָתַ֥ן rejoice na-TAHN לָכֶ֛ם in la-HEM אֶת the et הַמּוֹרֶ֖ה Lord ha-moh-REH לִצְדָקָ֑ה your leets-da-KA וַיּ֣וֹרֶד God: VA-yoh-red לָכֶ֗ם for la-HEM גֶּ֛שֶׁם he ɡEH-shem מוֹרֶ֥ה hath moh-REH וּמַלְק֖וֹשׁ given oo-mahl-KOHSH בָּרִאשֽׁוֹן׃ you ba-ree-SHONE -
וּמָלְא֥וּ the oo-mole-OO הַגֳּרָנ֖וֹת floors ha-ɡoh-ra-NOTE בָּ֑ר shall bahr וְהֵשִׁ֥יקוּ be veh-hay-SHEE-koo הַיְקָבִ֖ים full hai-ka-VEEM תִּיר֥וֹשׁ of tee-ROHSH וְיִצְהָֽר׃ wheat, veh-yeets-HAHR -
וְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֤י I veh-shee-lahm-TEE לָכֶם֙ will la-HEM אֶת restore et הַשָּׁנִ֔ים to ha-sha-NEEM אֲשֶׁר֙ you uh-SHER אָכַ֣ל ah-HAHL הָֽאַרְבֶּ֔ה the ha-ar-BEH הַיֶּ֖לֶק years ha-YEH-lek וְהֶחָסִ֣יל that veh-heh-ha-SEEL וְהַגָּזָ֑ם the veh-ha-ɡa-ZAHM חֵילִי֙ locust hay-LEE הַגָּד֔וֹל hath ha-ɡa-DOLE אֲשֶׁ֥ר eaten, uh-SHER שִׁלַּ֖חְתִּי the shee-LAHK-tee בָּכֶֽם׃ cankerworm, ba-HEM -
וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם ye va-uh-hahl-TEM אָכוֹל֙ shall ah-HOLE וְשָׂב֔וֹעַ eat veh-sa-VOH-ah וְהִלַּלְתֶּ֗ם in veh-hee-lahl-TEM אֶת plenty, et שֵׁ֤ם and shame יְהוָה֙ be yeh-VA אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם satisfied, ay-LOH-hay-HEM אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER עָשָׂ֥ה praise ah-SA עִמָּכֶ֖ם ee-ma-HEM לְהַפְלִ֑יא the leh-hahf-LEE וְלֹא name veh-LOH יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ of yay-VOH-shoo עַמִּ֖י the ah-MEE לְעוֹלָֽם׃ Lord leh-oh-LAHM -
וִידַעְתֶּ֗ם ye vee-da-TEM כִּ֣י shall kee בְקֶ֤רֶב know veh-KEH-rev יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ that yees-ra-ALE אָ֔נִי I AH-nee וַאֲנִ֛י am va-uh-NEE יְהוָ֥ה in yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם the ay-loh-hay-HEM וְאֵ֣ין midst veh-ANE ע֑וֹד of ode וְלֹא Israel, veh-LOH יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ and yay-VOH-shoo עַמִּ֖י that ah-MEE לְעוֹלָֽם׃ I leh-oh-LAHM -
וְהָיָ֣ה it veh-ha-YA אַֽחֲרֵי shall AH-huh-ray כֵ֗ן come hane אֶשְׁפּ֤וֹךְ to esh-POKE אֶת pass et רוּחִי֙ afterward, roo-HEE עַל al כָּל that kahl בָּשָׂ֔ר I ba-SAHR וְנִבְּא֖וּ will veh-nee-beh-OO בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם pour beh-nay-HEM וּבְנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם out oo-veh-noh-tay-HEM זִקְנֵיכֶם֙ zeek-nay-HEM חֲלֹמ֣וֹת my huh-loh-MOTE יַחֲלֹמ֔וּן spirit ya-huh-loh-MOON בַּח֣וּרֵיכֶ֔ם upon ba-HOO-ray-HEM חֶזְיֹנ֖וֹת all hez-yoh-NOTE יִרְאֽוּ׃ flesh; yeer-OO -
וְגַ֥ם also veh-ɡAHM עַל upon al הָֽעֲבָדִ֖ים the ha-uh-va-DEEM וְעַל servants veh-AL הַשְּׁפָח֑וֹת and ha-sheh-fa-HOTE בַּיָּמִ֣ים upon ba-ya-MEEM הָהֵ֔מָּה the ha-HAY-ma אֶשְׁפּ֖וֹךְ handmaids esh-POKE אֶת in et רוּחִֽי׃ those roo-HEE -
וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ I veh-na-ta-TEE מֽוֹפְתִ֔ים will moh-feh-TEEM בַּשָּׁמַ֖יִם shew ba-sha-MA-yeem וּבָאָ֑רֶץ wonders oo-va-AH-rets דָּ֣ם in dahm וָאֵ֔שׁ the va-AYSH וְתִֽימֲר֖וֹת heavens veh-tee-muh-ROTE עָשָֽׁן׃ and ah-SHAHN -
הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ sun ha-SHEH-MESH יֵהָפֵ֣ךְ shall yay-ha-FAKE לְחֹ֔שֶׁךְ be leh-HOH-shek וְהַיָּרֵ֖חַ turned veh-ha-ya-RAY-ak לְדָ֑ם into leh-DAHM לִפְנֵ֗י darkness, leef-NAY בּ֚וֹא and boh י֣וֹם the yome יְהוָ֔ה moon yeh-VA הַגָּד֖וֹל into ha-ɡa-DOLE וְהַנּוֹרָֽא׃ blood, veh-ha-noh-RA -
וְהָיָ֗ה it veh-ha-YA כֹּ֧ל shall kole אֲשֶׁר come uh-SHER יִקְרָ֛א to yeek-RA בְּשֵׁ֥ם pass, beh-SHAME יְהוָ֖ה that yeh-VA יִמָּלֵ֑ט whosoever yee-ma-LATE כִּ֠י kee בְּהַר shall beh-HAHR צִיּ֨וֹן call TSEE-yone וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֜ם on oo-vee-roo-sha-la-EEM תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה the tee-heh-YEH פְלֵיטָ֗ה name feh-lay-TA כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ of ka-uh-SHER אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord yeh-VA וּבַ֨שְּׂרִידִ֔ים shall oo-VA-seh-ree-DEEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר be uh-SHER יְהוָ֖ה delivered: yeh-VA קֹרֵֽא׃ for koh-RAY
