Jeremiah 7:26
എന്നിട്ടും എന്നെ കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയോ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യം കാട്ടി തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെക്കാൾ അധികം ദോഷം ചെയ്തു.

| their ear, | אָזְנָ֑ם | ʾoznām | oze-NAHM |
| hardened but | וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ | wayyaqšû | va-yahk-SHOO |

| their neck: | עָרְפָּ֔ם | ʿorpām | ore-PAHM |
| worse did they | הֵרֵ֖עוּ | hērēʿû | hay-RAY-oo |
| than their fathers. | מֵאֲבוֹתָֽם׃ | mēʾăbôtām | may-uh-voh-TAHM |
