Jeremiah 2:19
നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത തന്നേ നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷയും നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്യാഗങ്ങൾ നിനക്കു ദണ്ഡനവുമാകും; അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതും എന്റെ ഭയം നിനക്കു ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നതും എത്ര ദോഷവും കൈപ്പും ആയുള്ളതെന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു കണ്ടുകൊൾക എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

| shall reprove | תּוֹכִחֻ֔ךְ | tôkiḥuk | toh-hee-HOOK |
| know thee: | וּדְעִ֤י | ûdĕʿî | oo-deh-EE |
| therefore and see | וּרְאִי֙ | ûrĕʾiy | oo-reh-EE |
| that | כִּי | kî | kee |
| evil an is it | רַ֣ע | raʿ | ra |
| bitter, and thing | וָמָ֔ר | wāmār | va-MAHR |
| that thou hast forsaken | עָזְבֵ֖ךְ | ʿozbēk | oze-VAKE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| Lord the | יְהוָ֣ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| thy God, | אֱלֹהָ֑יִךְ | ʾĕlōhāyik | ay-loh-HA-yeek |
| fear my that and | וְלֹ֤א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| is not | פַחְדָּתִי֙ | paḥdātiy | fahk-da-TEE |
| in | אֵלַ֔יִךְ | ʾēlayik | ay-LA-yeek |
| saith thee, | נְאֻם | nĕʾum | neh-OOM |
| the Lord | אֲדֹנָ֥י | ʾădōnāy | uh-doh-NAI |
