Isaiah 47:8
ആകയാൽ: ഞാൻ മാത്രം; എനിക്കു തുല്യമായി മറ്റാരുമില്ല; ഞാൻ വിധവയായിരിക്കയില്ല; പുത്രനഷ്ടം അറികയുമില്ല എന്നു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയുന്ന സുഖഭോഗിനിയും നിർഭയവാസിനിയും ആയുള്ളവളേ, ഇതു കേൾക്ക:
| Therefore hear | וְעַתָּ֞ה | wĕʿattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| now | שִׁמְעִי | šimʿî | sheem-EE |
| this, | זֹ֤את | zōt | zote |
| pleasures, to given art that thou | עֲדִינָה֙ | ʿădînāh | uh-dee-NA |
| dwellest that | הַיּוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת | hayyôšebet | ha-yoh-SHEH-vet |
| carelessly, | לָבֶ֔טַח | lābeṭaḥ | la-VEH-tahk |
| that sayest | הָאֹֽמְרָה֙ | hāʾōmĕrāh | ha-oh-meh-RA |
| heart, thine in | בִּלְבָ֔בָהּ | bilbāboh | beel-VA-voh |
| I | אֲנִ֖י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| beside else none and am, | וְאַפְסִ֣י | wĕʾapsî | veh-af-SEE |
| ע֑וֹד | ʿôd | ode | |
| me; I shall not | לֹ֤א | lōʾ | loh |
| sit | אֵשֵׁב֙ | ʾēšēb | ay-SHAVE |
| widow, a as | אַלְמָנָ֔ה | ʾalmānâ | al-ma-NA |
| neither | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| shall I know | אֵדַ֖ע | ʾēdaʿ | ay-DA |
| the loss of children: | שְׁכֽוֹל׃ | šĕkôl | sheh-HOLE |
