Isaiah 29:13
ഈ ജനം അടുത്തു വന്നു വായ്കൊണ്ടും അധരംകൊണ്ടും എന്നെ ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അവർ എങ്കൽനിന്നു ദൂരത്തു അകറ്റി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടുള്ള അവരുടെ ഭക്തി, മനഃപാഠമാക്കിയ മാനുഷകല്പനയത്രെ.

| mouth, their with me | בְּפִ֤יו | bĕpîw | beh-FEEOO |
| lips their with and | וּבִשְׂפָתָיו֙ | ûbiśpātāyw | oo-vees-fa-tav |
| do honour | כִּבְּד֔וּנִי | kibbĕdûnî | kee-beh-DOO-nee |
| removed have but me, | וְלִבּ֖וֹ | wĕlibbô | veh-LEE-boh |
| their heart | רִחַ֣ק | riḥaq | ree-HAHK |
| far from | מִמֶּ֑נִּי | mimmennî | mee-MEH-nee |
| fear their and me, | וַתְּהִ֤י | wattĕhî | va-teh-HEE |
| toward | יִרְאָתָם֙ | yirʾātām | yeer-ah-TAHM |
| me is | אֹתִ֔י | ʾōtî | oh-TEE |
| taught | מִצְוַ֥ת | miṣwat | meets-VAHT |
