Genesis 50:10
അവർ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെയുള്ള ഗോരെൻ-ആതാദിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവിടെവെച്ചു എത്രയും ഗൌരവമായ പ്രലാപം കഴിച്ചു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ ഏഴു ദിവസം തന്റെ അപ്പനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലാപം കഴിച്ചു.

| and there | וַיִּ֨סְפְּדוּ | wayyispĕdû | va-YEES-peh-doo |
| they mourned | שָׁ֔ם | šām | shahm |
| great a with | מִסְפֵּ֛ד | mispēd | mees-PADE |
| and very | גָּד֥וֹל | gādôl | ɡa-DOLE |
| sore | וְכָבֵ֖ד | wĕkābēd | veh-ha-VADE |
| lamentation: | מְאֹ֑ד | mĕʾōd | meh-ODE |
| made he and | וַיַּ֧עַשׂ | wayyaʿaś | va-YA-as |
| a mourning | לְאָבִ֛יו | lĕʾābîw | leh-ah-VEEOO |
| for his father | אֵ֖בֶל | ʾēbel | A-vel |
