Genesis 48:22
എന്റെ വാളും വില്ലുംകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അമോർയ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു പിടിച്ചടക്കിയ മലഞ്ചരിവു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഓഹരിയിൽ കവിഞ്ഞതായി നിനക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

| above | אַחַ֖ד | ʾaḥad | ah-HAHD |
| thy brethren, | עַל | ʿal | al |
| which | אַחֶ֑יךָ | ʾaḥêkā | ah-HAY-ha |
| I took | אֲשֶׁ֤ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| hand the of out | לָקַ֙חְתִּי֙ | lāqaḥtiy | la-KAHK-TEE |
| of the Amorite | מִיַּ֣ד | miyyad | mee-YAHD |
| sword my with | הָֽאֱמֹרִ֔י | hāʾĕmōrî | ha-ay-moh-REE |
| and with my bow. | בְּחַרְבִּ֖י | bĕḥarbî | beh-hahr-BEE |
| וּבְקַשְׁתִּֽי׃ | ûbĕqaštî | oo-veh-kahsh-TEE |
