Genesis 3:13
യഹോവയായ ദൈവം സ്ത്രീയോടു: നീ ഈ ചെയ്തതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: പാമ്പു എന്നെ വഞ്ചിച്ചു, ഞാൻ തിന്നുപോയി എന്നു സ്ത്രീ പറഞ്ഞു.

| said | אֱלֹהִ֛ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| woman, the unto | לָאִשָּׁ֖ה | lāʾiššâ | la-ee-SHA |
| What | מַה | ma | ma |
| is this | זֹּ֣את | zōt | zote |
| done? hast thou that | עָשִׂ֑ית | ʿāśît | ah-SEET |
| And the woman | וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ | wattōʾmer | va-TOH-MER |
| said, | הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה | hāʾiššâ | ha-ee-SHA |
| serpent The | הַנָּחָ֥שׁ | hannāḥāš | ha-na-HAHSH |
| beguiled me, | הִשִּׁיאַ֖נִי | hiššîʾanî | hee-shee-AH-nee |
| and I did eat. | וָאֹכֵֽל׃ | wāʾōkēl | va-oh-HALE |
