Genesis 28:11
അവൻ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവിടെ രാപാർത്തു; അവൻ ആ സ്ഥലത്തെ കല്ലുകളിൽ ഒന്നു എടുത്തു തലയണയായി വെച്ചു അവിടെ കിടന്നുറങ്ങി.

| the sun | בָ֣א | bāʾ | va |
| was set; | הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ | haššemeš | ha-SHEH-mesh |
| took he and | וַיִּקַּח֙ | wayyiqqaḥ | va-yee-KAHK |
| of the stones | מֵֽאַבְנֵ֣י | mēʾabnê | may-av-NAY |
| place, that of | הַמָּק֔וֹם | hammāqôm | ha-ma-KOME |
| and put | וַיָּ֖שֶׂם | wayyāśem | va-YA-sem |
| pillows, his for them | מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑יו | mĕraʾăšōtāyw | meh-ra-uh-shoh-TAV |
| that in down lay and | וַיִּשְׁכַּ֖ב | wayyiškab | va-yeesh-KAHV |
| place | בַּמָּק֥וֹם | bammāqôm | ba-ma-KOME |
