Genesis 24:8
എന്നാൽ സ്ത്രീക്കു നിന്നോടുകൂടെ വരുവാൻ മനസ്സില്ലെങ്കിൽ നീ ഈ സത്യത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കും; എന്റെ മകനെ അവിടേക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുപോക മാത്രം അരുതു.

| אַֽחֲרֶ֔יךָ | ʾaḥărêkā | ah-huh-RAY-ha | |
| clear be shalt thou then thee, | וְנִקִּ֕יתָ | wĕniqqîtā | veh-nee-KEE-ta |
| from this my oath: | מִשְּׁבֻֽעָתִ֖י | miššĕbuʿātî | mee-sheh-voo-ah-TEE |
| only | זֹ֑את | zōt | zote |
| bring not | רַ֣ק | raq | rahk |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| my son | בְּנִ֔י | bĕnî | beh-NEE |
| thither | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| again. | תָשֵׁ֖ב | tāšēb | ta-SHAVE |
| שָֽׁמָּה׃ | šāmmâ | SHA-ma |
