Genesis 1:26
അനന്തരം ദൈവം: നാം നമ്മുടെ സ്വരൂപത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ സാദൃശ്യപ്രകാരം മനുഷ്യനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; അവർ സമുദ്രത്തിലുള്ള മത്സ്യത്തിന്മേലും ആകാശത്തിലുള്ള പറവജാതിയിന്മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിന്മേലും സർവ്വഭൂമിയിന്മേലും ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇഴയുന്ന എല്ലാ ഇഴജാതിയിന്മേലും വാഴട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

| after our likeness: | כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ | kidmûtēnû | keed-moo-TAY-noo |
| dominion have them let and | וְיִרְדּוּ֩ | wĕyirdû | veh-yeer-DOO |
| over the fish | בִדְגַ֨ת | bidgat | veed-ɡAHT |
| sea, the of | הַיָּ֜ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| fowl the over and | וּבְע֣וֹף | ûbĕʿôp | oo-veh-OFE |
| of the air, | הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם | haššāmayim | ha-sha-MA-yeem |
| cattle, the over and | וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙ | ûbabbĕhēmāh | oo-va-beh-hay-MA |
| and over all | וּבְכָל | ûbĕkāl | oo-veh-HAHL |
| earth, the | הָאָ֔רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| and over every | וּבְכָל | ûbĕkāl | oo-veh-HAHL |
| thing creeping | הָרֶ֖מֶשׂ | hāremeś | ha-REH-mes |
| that creepeth | הָֽרֹמֵ֥שׂ | hārōmēś | ha-roh-MASE |
| upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
