Ezekiel 44
1 അനന്തരം അവൻ എന്നെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമുള്ള പുറത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിലേക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നാൽ അതു അടെച്ചിരുന്നു.
2 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഈ ഗോപുരം തുറക്കാതെ അടെച്ചിരിക്കേണം; ആരും അതിൽകൂടി കടക്കരുതു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അതിൽകൂടി അകത്തു കടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതു അടെച്ചിരിക്കേണം.
3 പ്രഭുവോ അവൻ പ്രഭുവായിരിക്കയാൽ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭോജനം കഴിപ്പാൻ അവിടെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവൻ ആ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തുകൂടി അകത്തു കടക്കയും അതിൽകൂടി പുറത്തു പോകയും വേണം.
4 പിന്നെ അവൻ എന്നെ വടക്കെ ഗോപുരംവഴിയായി ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; ഞാൻ നോക്കി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു കവിണ്ണുവീണു.
5 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ സകല വ്യവസ്ഥകളെയും നിയമങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം ശ്രദ്ധവെച്ചു കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നോക്കി ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേൾക്ക; ആലയത്തിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനത്തെയും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള പുറപ്പാടുകളെയും നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം കുറിക്കൊൾക.
6 യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹക്കരായ മത്സരികളോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും മതിയാക്കുവിൻ.
7 നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ആഹാരമായ മേദസ്സും രക്തവും അർപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ, എന്റെ ആലയത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഹൃദയത്തിലും മാംസത്തിലും അഗ്രചർമ്മികളായ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഇരിപ്പാൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതിനാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകൾക്കും പുറമെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നിയമവും ലംഘിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
8 നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളുടെ കാര്യം വിചാരിക്കാതെ അവരെ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കാര്യവിചാരണെക്കു ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള യാതൊരു അന്യജാതിക്കാരനും, ഹൃദയത്തിലും മാംസത്തിലും അഗ്രചർമ്മിയായ യാതൊരു അന്യജാതിക്കാരനും തന്നേ, എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കരുതു.
10 യിസ്രായേൽ തെറ്റിപ്പോയ കാലത്തു എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നു പോയവരും എന്നെ വിട്ടു തെറ്റി വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നവരുമായ ലേവ്യർ തന്നേ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം.
11 അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പടിവാതിൽക്കൽ എല്ലാം ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായി കാവൽനിന്നു ആലയത്തിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; അവർ ജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി ഹോമയാഗവും ഹനനയാഗവും അറുത്തു അവർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിൽക്കേണം.
12 അവർ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു, യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു അകൃത്യഹേതുവായ്തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി കൈ ഉയർത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
13 അവർ എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്‍വാനും അതിവിശുദ്ധങ്ങളായ എന്റെ സകല വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെയും തൊടുവാനും എന്നോടു അടുത്തുവരാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ ലജ്ജയും തങ്ങൾ ചെയ്ത മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും വഹിക്കേണം.
14 എന്നാൽ ആലയത്തിന്റെ എല്ലാ വേലെക്കും അതിൽ ചെയ്‍വാനുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ അതിൽ കാര്യവിചാരകന്മാരാക്കി വെക്കും.
15 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എന്നെ വിട്ടു തെറ്റിപ്പോയ കാലത്തു എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരണ നടത്തിയിരുന്ന സാദോക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാർ എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നോടു അടുത്തുവരികയും മേദസ്സും രക്തവും എനിക്കു അർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിൽക്കയും വേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
16 അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കടന്നു എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ മേശയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരികയും എന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരണ നടത്തുകയും വേണം.
17 എന്നാൽ അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കകത്തു കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കേണം; അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കലും ആലയത്തിന്നകത്തും ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ആട്ടിൻ രോമംകൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കരുതു.
18 അവരുടെ തലയിൽ ശണംകൊണ്ടുള്ള തലപ്പാവും അരയിൽ ശണംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കാല്ക്കുപ്പായവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം; വിയർപ്പുണ്ടാകുന്ന യാതൊന്നും അവർ ധരിക്കരുതു.
19 അവർ പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിലേക്കു, പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തന്നേ, ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രത്താൽ ജനത്തെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തങ്ങൾ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്ത സമയം ധരിച്ചിരുന്ന വസ്ത്രം നീക്കി വിശുദ്ധമണ്ഡപങ്ങളിൽ വെച്ചിട്ടു വേറെ വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കേണം.
20 അവർ തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്കയോ തലമുടി നീട്ടുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ കത്രിക്ക മാത്രമേ ചെയ്യാവു.
21 യാതൊരു പുരോഹിതനും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചു അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ കടക്കരുതു.
22 വിധവയെയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളെയോ ഭാര്യയായി എടുക്കാതെ അവർ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിലെ സന്തതിയിലുള്ള കന്യകമാരെയോ ഒരു പുരോഹിതന്റെ ഭാര്യയായിരുന്ന വിധവയെയോ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കേണം.
23 അവർ വിശുദ്ധമായതിന്നും സാമാന്യമായതിന്നും തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചു, മലിനമായതും നിർമ്മലമായതും അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയുമാറാക്കേണം.
24 വ്യവഹാരത്തിൽ അവർ ന്യായം വിധിപ്പാൻ നിൽക്കേണം; എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു അവർ ന്യായം വിധിക്കേണം; അവർ ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലൊക്കെയും എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആചരിക്കയും എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും വേണം.
25 അവർ മരിച്ച ആളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അശുദ്ധരാകരുതു; എങ്കിലും അപ്പൻ, അമ്മ, മകൻ, മകൾ, സഹോദരൻ, ഭർത്താവില്ലാത്ത സഹോദരി എന്നിവർക്കുവേണ്ടി അശുദ്ധരാകാം.
26 അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ഏഴു ദിവസം എണ്ണേണം.
27 വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന ദിവസത്തിൽ അവൻ പാപയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
28 അവരുടെ അവകാശമോ, ഞാൻ തന്നേ അവരുടെ അവകാശം; നിങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു യിസ്രായേലിൽ സ്വത്തു ഒന്നും കൊടുക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ അവരുടെ സ്വത്താകുന്നു.
29 അവർ ഭോജനയാഗം, പാപയാഗം, അകൃത്യയാഗം എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു ഉപജീവനം കഴിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേലിൽ നിവേദിതമായതൊക്കെയും അവർക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം.
30 സകലവിധ ആദ്യഫലങ്ങളിലും ഉത്തമമായതും വഴിപാടായി വരുന്ന എല്ലാവക വഴിപാടും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്മേൽ അനുഗ്രഹം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ തരിമാവിന്റെ ആദ്യഭാഗവും പുരോഹിതന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.
31 താനേ ചത്തതും പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതുമായ പക്ഷിയെയോ മൃഗത്തെയോ ഒന്നിനെയും പുരോഹിതൻ തിന്നരുതു.
1 Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.
2 Then said the Lord unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the Lord, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.
3 It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
4 Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord: and I fell upon my face.
5 And the Lord said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the Lord, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.
6 And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
7 In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
8 And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.
9 Thus saith the Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.
10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity.
11 Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
12 Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord God, and they shall bear their iniquity.
13 And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
14 But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord God:
16 They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
17 And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
18 They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
19 And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.
20 Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.
21 Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.
22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.
23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
25 And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves.
26 And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days.
27 And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the Lord God.
28 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.
29 They shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.
30 And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
31 The priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast.

1 இதற்குப்பின்பு மோவாப் புத்திரரும், அம்மோன் புத்திரரும், அவர்களோடே அம்மோனியருக்கு அப்புறத்திலுள்ள மனுஷருங்கூட யோசபாத்திற்கு விரோதமாய் யுத்தம்பண்ண வந்தார்கள்.
It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
2 சிலர் வந்து, யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி: உமக்கு விரோதமாய் ஏராளமான ஜனங்கள் கடலுக்கு அக்கரையிலிருக்கிற சீரியாவிலிருந்து வருகிறார்கள்; இதோ, அவர்கள் எங்கேதியாகிய ஆசாசோன்தாமாரில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று அறிவித்தார்கள்.
Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi.
3 அப்பொழுது யோசபாத் பயந்து, கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறதற்கு ஒருமுகப்பட்டு, யூதாவெங்கும் உபவாசத்தைக் கூறுவித்தான்
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
4 அப்படியே யூதா ஜனங்கள் கர்த்தரிடத்திலே சகாயந்தேடக் கூடினார்கள்; யூதாவிலுள்ள எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களிலும் இருந்து அவர்கள் கர்த்தரைத் தேடவந்தார்கள்.
And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.
5 அப்பொழுது யோசபாத் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே புதுப்பிராகாரத்துமுகப்பிலே, யூதா ஜனங்களும் எருசலேமியரும் கூடின சபையிலே நின்று:
And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,
6 எங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற நீரல்லவோ தேவன்; தேவரீர் ஜாதிகளுடைய ராஜ்யங்களையெல்லாம் ஆளுகிறவர்; உம்முடைய கரத்திலே வல்லமையும் பராக்கிரமமும் இருக்கிறது, ஒருவரும் உம்மோடு எதிர்த்து நிற்கக் கூடாது.
And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?
7 எங்கள் தேவனாகிய நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாக இந்த தேசத்துக் குடிகளைத் துரத்திவிட்டு இதை உம்முடைய சிநேகிதனாகிய ஆபிரகாமுடைய சந்ததிக்கு என்றைக்குமென்று கொடுக்கவில்லையா?
Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?
8 ஆதலால் அவர்கள் இங்கே குடியிருந்து, இதிலே உம்முடைய நாமத்திற்கென்று ஒரு பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைக் கட்டினார்கள்.
And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,
9 எங்கள்மேல் பட்டயம், நியாயதண்டனை, கொள்ளைநோய், பஞ்சம் முதலான தீமைகள் வந்தால், அப்பொழுது உம்முடைய நாமம் இந்த ஆலயத்தில் விளங்குகிறபடியால், நாங்கள் இந்த ஆலயத்திலும் உமது சந்நிதியிலும் வந்துநின்று, எங்கள் இடுக்கணில் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகையில், தேவரீர் கேட்டு இரட்சிப்பீர் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள்.
If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
13 யூதா கோத்திரத்தார் அனைவரும், அவர்கள் குழந்தைகளும், அவர்கள் பெண்ஜாதிகளும், அவர்கள் குமாரருங்கூட கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக நின்றார்கள்.
And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
14 அப்பொழுது சபையின் நடுவிலிருக்கிற மத்தனியாவின் குமாரனாகிய ஏயெலின் மகனான பெனாயாவுக்குப் பிறந்த சகரியாவின் புத்திரன் யகாசியேல் என்னும் ஆசாப்பின் புத்திரரில் ஒருவனான லேவியன்மேல் கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி இறங்கினதினால் அவன் சொன்னது:
Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation;
15 சகல யூதா கோத்திரத்தாரே, எருசலேமின் குடிகளே, ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத்தே, கேளுங்கள்; நீங்கள் அந்த ஏராளமான கூட்டத்திற்குப் பயப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இருங்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறார்; இந்த யுத்தம் உங்களுடையதல்ல, தேவனுடையது.
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
16 நாளைக்கு நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் போங்கள்; இதோ, அவர்கள் சிஸ் என்னும் மேட்டுவழியாய் வருகிறார்கள்; நீங்கள் அவர்களை யெருவேல் வனாந்தரத்திற்கு எதிரான பள்ளத்தாக்கின் கடையாந்தரத்திலே கண்டு சந்திப்பீர்கள்.
To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
17 இந்த யுத்தத்தைப் பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் நீங்கள் அல்ல; யூதா மனுஷரே, எருசலேம் ஜனங்களே, நீங்கள் தரித்துநின்று கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யும் இரட்சிப்பைப் பாருங்கள்; பயப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இருங்கள்; நாளைக்கு அவர்களுக்கு எதிராகப் புறப்படுங்கள்; கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே இருக்கிறார் என்றான்.
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.
18 அப்பொழுது யோசபாத் தரைமட்டும் முகங்குனிந்தான்; சகல யூதா கோத்திரத்தாரும் எருசலேமின் குடிகளும் கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்துகொள்ளக் கர்த்தருக்குமுன்பாகத் தாழவிழுந்தார்கள்.
And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord.
19 கோகாத்தியரின் புத்திரரிலும் கோராகியரின் புத்திரரிலும் இருந்த லேவியர் எழுந்திருந்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை மகா சத்தத்தோடே கெம்பீரமாய்த் துதித்தார்கள்.
And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
20 அவர்கள் அதிகாலமே எழுந்திருந்து, தெக்கொவாவின் வனாந்தரத்திற்குப் போகப் புறப்பட்டார்கள்; புறப்படுகையில் யோசபாத் நின்று: யூதாவே, எருசலேமின் குடிகளே, கேளுங்கள்; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நம்புங்கள், அப்பொழுது நிலைப்படுவீர்கள்; அவருடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை நம்புங்கள், அப்பொழுது சித்திபெறுவீர்கள் என்றான்.
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
21 பின்பு அவன் ஜனத்தோடே ஆலோசனைபண்ணி, பரிசுத்தமுள்ள மகக்துவத்தைத் துதிக்கவும், ஆயுதம் அணிந்தவர்களுக்கு முன்னாக நடந்துபோய், கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று கர்த்தரைப் பாடவும், பாடகரை நிறுத்தினான்.
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
22 அவர்கள் பாடித் துதிசெய்யத் தொடங்கினபோது, யூதாவுக்கு விரோதமாய் வந்து பதிவிருந்த அம்மோன் புத்திரரையும், மோவாபியரையும், சேயீர் மலைத்தேசத்தாரையும், ஒருவருக்கு விரோதமாய் ஒருவரைக் கர்த்தர் எழும்பப்பண்ணினதினால் அவர்கள் வெட்டுண்டு விழுந்தார்கள்.
And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
23 எப்படியெனில், அம்மோன் புத்திரரும் மோவாபியரும், சேயீர் மலைத்தேசக்குடிகளைச் சங்கரிக்கவும் அழிக்கவும் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்பினார்கள்; சேயீர் குடிகளை அழித்துத் தீர்ந்தபோது, தாங்களும் தங்களில் ஒருவரையொருவர் அழிக்கத்தக்கவிதமாய்க் கைகலந்தார்கள்.
For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
24 யூதா மனுஷர் வனாந்தரத்திலுள்ள சாமக்கூட்டண்டையிலே வந்து, அந்த ஏராளமான கூட்டமிருக்கும் திக்கை நோக்குகிறபோது, இதோ, அவர்கள் தரையிலே விழுந்துகிடக்கிற பிரேதங்களாகக் கண்டார்கள்; ஒருவரும் தப்பவில்லை.
And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
25 யோசபாத்தும் அவனுடைய ஜனங்களும் அவர்கள் உடைமைகளைக் கொள்ளையிட வந்தபோது, அவர்கள் கண்ட ஏராளமான பொருள்களும் பிரேதங்களிலிருந்து உரிந்துபோட்ட ஆடை ஆபரணங்களும், தாங்கள் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போகக் கூடாதிருந்தது; மூன்றுநாளாய்க் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள்; அது அவ்வளவு மிகுதியாயிருந்தது.
And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
26 நாலாம் நாளில் பொராக்காவிலே கூடினார்கள்; அங்கே கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் செலுத்தினார்கள்; ஆதலால் அவ்விடத்திற்கு இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிறபடி பெராக்கா என்னும் பேர் தரித்தார்கள்.
And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
27 பின்பு கர்த்தர் அவர்களை அவர்கள் சத்துருக்கள்பேரில் களிகூரச் செய்தபடியால் யூதா மனுஷர் யாவரும் எருசலேம் ஜனங்களும், அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலே யோசபாத்தும் மகிழ்ச்சியோடே எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பினார்கள்.
Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
28 அவர்கள் தம்புருகளோடும் சுரமண்டலங்களோடும் பூரிகைகளோடும் எருசலேமிலிருக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord.
29 கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் சத்துருக்களோடு யுத்தம்பண்ணினார் என்று கேள்விப்பட்ட அந்தந்த தேசத்து ராஜ்யத்தார்மேல் தேவனால் உண்டான பயங்கரமும் வந்தது.
And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.
30 இவ்விதமாய் தேவன் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாரால் யுத்தமில்லாத இளைப்பாறுதலை அவனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டதினால், யோசபாத்தின் ராஜ்யபாரம் அமரிக்கையாயிருந்தது.
So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.
