Deuteronomy 31:17
എന്റെ കോപം അവരുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാൻ അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ മുഖം അവർക്കു മറെക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അവർ നാശത്തിന്നിരയായ്തീരും; അനേകം അനർത്ഥങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അവർക്കു ഭവിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടല്ലയോ ഈ അനത്ഥങ്ങൾ നമുക്കു ഭവിച്ചതു എന്നു അവർ അന്നു പറയും.

| shall be kindled | אַפִּ֣י | ʾappî | ah-PEE |
| that in them against | ב֣וֹ | bô | voh |
| day, | בַיּוֹם | bayyôm | va-YOME |
| and I will forsake | הַ֠הוּא | hahûʾ | HA-hoo |
| hide will I and them, | וַֽעֲזַבְתִּ֞ים | waʿăzabtîm | va-uh-zahv-TEEM |
| my face | וְהִסְתַּרְתִּ֨י | wĕhistartî | veh-hees-tahr-TEE |
| be shall they and them, from | פָנַ֤י | pānay | fa-NAI |
| devoured, | מֵהֶם֙ | mēhem | may-HEM |
| many and | וְהָיָ֣ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| evils | לֶֽאֱכֹ֔ל | leʾĕkōl | leh-ay-HOLE |
| and troubles | וּמְצָאֻ֛הוּ | ûmĕṣāʾuhû | oo-meh-tsa-OO-hoo |
| shall befall | רָע֥וֹת | rāʿôt | ra-OTE |
| say will they that so them; | רַבּ֖וֹת | rabbôt | RA-bote |
| in that | וְצָר֑וֹת | wĕṣārôt | veh-tsa-ROTE |
| day, | וְאָמַר֙ | wĕʾāmar | veh-ah-MAHR |
| not Are | בַּיּ֣וֹם | bayyôm | BA-yome |
| these | הַה֔וּא | hahûʾ | ha-HOO |
| evils | הֲלֹ֗א | hălōʾ | huh-LOH |
| come upon | עַ֣ל | ʿal | al |
| us, because | כִּי | kî | kee |
| אֵ֤ין | ʾên | ane | |
| our God | אֱלֹהַי֙ | ʾĕlōhay | ay-loh-HA |
| is not | בְּקִרְבִּ֔י | bĕqirbî | beh-keer-BEE |
| among | מְצָא֖וּנִי | mĕṣāʾûnî | meh-tsa-OO-nee |
| us? | הָֽרָע֥וֹת | hārāʿôt | ha-ra-OTE |
| הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ | hāʾēlle | ha-A-leh |
