Daniel 9:23
നീ ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയനാകയാൽ നിന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ആരംഭത്തിങ്കൽ തന്നേ കല്പന പുറപ്പെട്ടു, നിന്നോടു അറിയിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ വന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ കാര്യം ചിന്തിച്ചു ദർശനം ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊൾക.

| of thy supplications | תַּחֲנוּנֶ֜יךָ | taḥănûnêkā | ta-huh-noo-NAY-ha |
| commandment the | יָצָ֣א | yāṣāʾ | ya-TSA |
| came forth, | דָבָ֗ר | dābār | da-VAHR |
| and I | וַאֲנִי֙ | waʾăniy | va-uh-NEE |
| am come | בָּ֣אתִי | bāʾtî | BA-tee |
| shew to | לְהַגִּ֔יד | lĕhaggîd | leh-ha-ɡEED |
| thee; for | כִּ֥י | kî | kee |
| thou | חֲמוּד֖וֹת | ḥămûdôt | huh-moo-DOTE |
| art greatly beloved: | אָ֑תָּה | ʾāttâ | AH-ta |
| understand therefore | וּבִין֙ | ûbîn | oo-VEEN |
| the matter, | בַּדָּבָ֔ר | baddābār | ba-da-VAHR |
| and consider | וְהָבֵ֖ן | wĕhābēn | veh-ha-VANE |
| the vision. | בַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃ | bammarʾe | ba-mahr-EH |
