Daniel 2:14
എന്നാൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അകമ്പടിനായകനായി ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ കൊന്നുകളവാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു അർയ്യോക്കിനോടു ദാനീയേൽ ബുദ്ധിയോടും വിവേകത്തോടും കൂടെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

അതുകൊണ്ടു ദാനീയേൽ, ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ നിശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ രാജാവു നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന അർയ്യോക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു: ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കരുതു; എന്നെ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം; ഞാൻ രാജാവിനെ അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
