2 Kings 14:6
എന്നാൽ പുത്രന്മാർക്കു പകരം പിതാക്കന്മാരും പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു പകരം പുത്രന്മാരും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കരുതു; താന്താന്റെ പാപത്തിന്നു താന്താൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതായി മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു അനുസരിച്ചു അവൻ ആ കുലപാതകന്മാരുടെ മക്കളെ കൊല്ലാതിരുന്നു.

| of Moses, | תּֽוֹרַת | tôrat | TOH-raht |
| wherein | מֹ֠שֶׁה | mōše | MOH-sheh |
| Lord the | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| commanded, | צִוָּ֨ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| saying, | יְהוָ֜ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| The fathers | לֵאמֹ֗ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| not shall | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| be put to death | יוּמְת֨וּ | yûmĕtû | yoo-meh-TOO |
| for | אָב֤וֹת | ʾābôt | ah-VOTE |
| children, the | עַל | ʿal | al |
| nor | בָּנִים֙ | bānîm | ba-NEEM |
| the children | וּבָנִים֙ | ûbānîm | oo-va-NEEM |
| be put to death | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| for | יוּמְת֣וּ | yûmĕtû | yoo-meh-TOO |
| the fathers; | עַל | ʿal | al |
| but | אָב֔וֹת | ʾābôt | ah-VOTE |
| כִּ֛י | kî | kee | |
| every man | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| death to put be shall | אִ֥ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| for his own sin. | בְּחֶטְא֖וֹ | bĕḥeṭʾô | beh-het-OH |
