1 Kings 18:29
ഉച്ചതിരിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഭോജനയാഗം കഴിക്കുന്ന സമയംവരെ അവർ വെളിച്ചപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; എന്നിട്ടും ഒരു ശബ്ദമോ ഉത്തരമോ ശ്രദ്ധയോ ഉണ്ടായില്ല.

| past, was | הַֽצָּהֳרַ֔יִם | haṣṣāhŏrayim | ha-tsa-hoh-RA-yeem |
| and they prophesied | וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֔וּ | wayyitĕnabbĕʾû | va-yee-teh-na-beh-OO |
| until | עַ֖ד | ʿad | ad |
| offering the of time the | לַֽעֲל֣וֹת | laʿălôt | la-uh-LOTE |
| of the evening sacrifice, | הַמִּנְחָ֑ה | hamminḥâ | ha-meen-HA |
| neither was there that | וְאֵֽין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| voice, | ק֥וֹל | qôl | kole |
| nor | וְאֵין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| answer, to any | עֹנֶ֖ה | ʿōne | oh-NEH |
| nor | וְאֵ֥ין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
