மாம்சமான யாவரும் தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பைக்காண்பார்கள் என்றும், வனாந்தரத்திலே கூப்பிடுகிறவனுடைய சத்தம் உண்டாகும் என்று ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியின் ஆகமத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபிரகாரம்,

1 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

குருடரை அவர்கள் அறியாத வழியிலே நடத்தி, அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியாத பாதைகளில் அவர்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்து, அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக இருளை வெளிச்சமும், கோணலைச் செவ்வையுமாக்குவேன்; இந்தக் காரியங்களை நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்து, அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிப்பேன்.

பள்ளமெல்லம் உயர்த்தப்பட்டு, சகல மலையும் குன்றும் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டு, கோணலானது செவ்வையாகி, கரடுமுரடானவை சமமாக்கப்படும் என்றும்.

நான் உனக்கு முன்னே போய், கோணலானவைகளைச் செவ்வையாக்குவேன்.

என் மலைகளையெல்லாம் வழிகளாக்குவேன்; என் பாதைகள் உயர்த்தப்படும்.

நரரின் மேட்டிமையான கண்கள் தாழ்த்தப்படும், மனுஷரின் வீறாப்பும் தணியும்; கர்த்தர் ஒருவரே அந்நாளில் உயர்ந்திருப்பார்.

அப்பொழுது முடவன் மானைப்போல் குதிப்பான்; ஊமையன் நாவும் கெம்பீரிக்கும்; வனாந்தரத்திலே தண்ணீர்களும், கடுவெளியிலே ஆறுகளும் பாய்ந்தோடும்.

கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் என்மேல் இருக்கிறார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்குச் சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவிக்கக் கர்த்தர் என்னை அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்; இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களுக்குக் காயங்கட்டுதலையும், சிறைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையையும், கட்டுண்டவர்களுக்குக் கட்டவிழ்த்தலையும் கூறவும்,

அப்படியே கர்த்தராகிய நான் உயர்ந்த விருட்சத்தைத் தாழ்த்தி, தாழ்ந்தவிருட்சத்தை உயர்த்தினேன் என்றும், நான் பச்சையான விருட்சத்தைப் பட்டுப்போகப்பண்ணி, பட்டுப்போன விருட்சத்தைத் தழைக்கப்பண்ணினேன் என்றும் வெளியின் விருட்சங்களுக்கு எல்லாம் தெரியவரும்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன்; இதை நிறைவேற்றினேன் என்று உரைத்தாரென்று சொல் என்றார்.

தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதயசிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்.

ஆகையினால், நெகிழ்ந்த கைகளையும் தளர்ந்த முழங்கால்களையும் நீங்கள், திரும்ப நிமிர்த்தி,

தாழ்ந்த சகோதரன் தான் உயர்த்தப்பட்டதைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டக்கடவன்.
